Each cabin has its own private terrace where you can enjoy the fresh sea air and breathtaking views of the area. Here you can relax with a good book, enjoy your morning coffee or gather the family for a cozy dinner under the stars. The small gas grill makes it easy to prepare delicious grilled dishes so you can treat your loved ones to a delicious culinary experience.
All cabins have a lovely wooden terrace with a garden table and chairs and a gas barbecue.
At Grenaa Strand Camping, you’ll also find our beautiful 25 m2 Luxury Cabins, offering the perfect setting for an unforgettable vacation for up to 6 people. Our cabins are designed with a focus on coziness and functionality, ensuring that you can enjoy a comfortable and relaxing experience in scenic surroundings.
Inside the cabins you’ll find cozy facilities to make your stay comfortable. With your own shower and toilet, you don’t have to worry about shared facilities and you can enjoy privacy. The cabins are decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to feel at home.
Our Luxury Cabins are ideally suited for families or groups. Sleeping space is cleverly distributed with two cozy beds in a loft that adds a fun and adventurous dimension to your stay. In the common room you’ll find a sofa bed that can easily be converted into a couple of extra beds, as well as a separate room with a nice bed where you can get a good night’s sleep.
In this cabin type, dogs are very welcome, so you can safely take your four-legged friend on vacation. Take long walks along the beach or explore the nearby forests.
The cabins contain:
- Sleeps 6, consisting of 1 double bed, 2 beds in a loft and 1 double sofa bed in the common room. Pillows and duvets are not included in this cabin type. You are very welcome to bring your own.
- Kitchen with hob and oven, refrigerator with small freezer compartment, and a coffee machine
- Pots, kettle, crockery and cutlery etc.
- Bathroom with toilet and shower
- Gas grill
- Smoking is not allowed in the Luxury Cabins. If this is not respected, a fee of DKK 1500 will be charged to the tenant. It is of course acceptable to smoke outside the Luxury cabins, with respect that the smoke does not enter the cabins and that ashtrays are used.
Bring your own:
- Duvets and pillows (can be rented at reception)
- Bed linen (can be rented at the reception)
- Towels (can be rented at the reception)
- Dish towels, dishcloths and washing up liquid
- Baby cot and high chair (can be rented at reception)
Notes:
- From week 27 up to and including week 32, our luxury cabins are only rented out for full weeks, from Friday to Friday
- During Pentecost, our luxury cabins are only rented for a minimum of 3 days
- During Ascension Day, our luxury cabins are only rented for a minimum of 4 days
- Rent is incl. personal fee & incl. electricity
- Arrival after 15:00, departure from cleaned cabin no later than 10:00
- Dogs are allowed in this cabin type
Once the reservation has been received, Grenaa Strand Camping will send a booking confirmation by e-mail. The reservation is binding when we have received the first installment according to the invoice sent.
For formal reasons, we reserve the right – in absolute exceptional cases – to change the reserved unit to another, at the latest upon arrival.
Changing the reservation:
The selected period cannot be changed to a shorter duration after arrival. There is no refund if you leave before the end of the reservation period.
For Pitches, Standard, Luxury, Deluxe, Grenaa cabins, apartments and rental caravans, any lost days are not refundable.
Terms of payment when booking by phone:
When booking a stay in your own caravan/tent, DKK 1000 of the stay must be paid within 7 days. The balance must be paid upon arrival at the latest.
Standard, Luxury, Deluxe, Grenaa cabin, apartment and caravan rentals:
When booking this type of rental unit, the first installment of DKK 1000 must be paid within 7 days. The second installment must be paid no later than 2 months before arrival. You will receive an email with your reservation details and your customer number.
The fee for personal service is DKK 200 if you want us to book the stay for you.
Payment terms for online reservations:
For online reservations, the entire stay is payable immediately. There is no booking fee for online reservations.
We do not accept young people (under 18) camping without parents. This applies to both regular camping in your own caravan/tent, as well as stays in cabins, apartments and rental caravans.
Only 1 car per unit is allowed on both pitches and when renting cabins. Even if the cabins are intended for several people. Other cars must be parked in the parking lot, in front of the barriers.
Complaints:
Any complaints must, in order to be processed, be made immediately after arrival or immediately after the fault has occurred. Claims for compensation must be notified in writing to Grenaa Strand Camping within one month of the end of the stay. Reservations are made for any printing errors, price increases and the like.

Cancellation protection:
When booking your holiday, you have the option to take out cancellation insurance, which allows you to cancel your trip and get all* your money back if you have to cancel your holiday for any reason.
If you book your vacation without booking cancellation insurance, you will be bound for the full amount, regardless of when you cancel. We therefore recommend all our campers to purchase this insurance.
What does cancellation insurance consist of?
– Cancellation insurance costs from DKK 75 up to DKK 300 depending on the period and what you have booked.
– If you buy cancellation insurance and need to cancel your vacation, you can get a full refund up to 60 days before your vacation starts*.
– If you buy cancellation insurance and cancel your vacation less than 60 days before your vacation starts, you’ll get half the amount back*.
ATTENTION. Cancellation insurance must be purchased when you book your vacation. It cannot be purchased at a later date.
*An administration fee of DKK 300 will be deducted, plus the amount you paid for the cancellation insurance itself.
– The price of the cancellation insurance depends on the period you have booked your stay and is valid per unit. Cancellation insurance can only be taken out at the same time as the reservation is made. The insurance cannot be canceled afterwards.
Personal data processing and protection policy
The data protection policy applies to Grenaa Strand Camping.
The policy shall help to ensure and document that the company protects its personal data in accordance with the rules for processing personal data. The policy also helps ensure that the company provides information about the processing and use of the registered personal data.
The policy is reviewed every year.
Inventory of the processing of personal data
The company processes personal data about:
- Employees
- Our customers
- Suppliers
- Others
The company has prepared an inventory of the processing of personal data. The inventory provides an overview of the processing operations for which the company is responsible.
The personal data is a prerequisite for the Company to enter into employment, customer and supplier contracts.
Purpose and lawfulness of processing
The personal data is processed and archived in connection with:
- HR administration, including recruitment, hiring, termination and payroll
- Customer master data and revenue
- Supplier master data, requisitions and purchases
- Monitoring to maintain order and protect against theft
- Potential passive recording of data traffic in connection with wifi tendering
The processing is lawful by virtue of the legal basis as indicated in the attached list.
The Company does not use the personal data for purposes other than those listed. The Company does not collect more personal data than necessary to fulfill the purpose.
Storage and deletion
The company has implemented the following general guidelines for storage and deletion of personal data:
- Personal data is stored in physical folders with appropriately restricted access.
- Personal data is stored in IT systems and on server drives.
- Personal data will not be stored longer than necessary for the purpose of the processing.
- Personal data for employees is deleted five years after the end of employment (part of accounting basis) and personal data for applicants is deleted after six months.
Data security
Based on the attached risk assessment, the company has implemented the following security measures for the protection of personal data:
- Only employees who have a work-related need to access the registered personal data have access to it, either physically or through IT systems with rights management.
- All computer access requires a login and employees are not allowed to give their passwords to others.
- Computers must have a firewall and antivirus software installed and continuously updated.
- Personal data is securely deleted when IT equipment is phased out and repaired.
- USB keys, external hard drives, etc. with personal data must be stored in a locked drawer or cabinet.
- Physical folders are located in locked offices or locked cabinets.
- Personal data in physical folders is deleted by shredding.
- All employees must receive instruction on what they are allowed to do with personal data and how to protect personal data.
- Signs are posted about video surveillance.
Disclosure
Personal data about employees may be disclosed to public authorities such as SKAT and pension companies.
Data processors
The company only uses data processors if the data processors provide the necessary guarantees that they will implement the appropriate technical and organizational security measures to meet the requirements of personal data law. All data processors sign a data processing agreement before processing is initiated.
Rights and entitlements
The company safeguards the rights of the data subject, including the right of access, withdrawal of consent, rectification and erasure, and informs the data subjects about the company’s processing of personal data. Data subjects also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
Personal data breaches
In the event of a personal data breach, the company will report the breach to the Danish Data Protection Agency as soon as possible and within 72 hours. The owner is responsible for ensuring that this happens. The notification must describe the breach, which groups of persons it concerns and what consequences the breach may have for these persons and how the Company has or will remedy the breach. In cases where the breach involves a high risk to the individuals about whom the Company processes personal data, the Company will also notify them. The Company documents all personal data breaches

Arrival after 15:00

The price of the rental includes electricity
Cots and high chairs can be rented at reception.
The bed in the bedroom is: 160 x 200 cm.
The mattresses in the loft are: 70 x 190 cm.
Sofa bed in kitchen family room is: 140 x 200 cm.
