Opening hours in the spring and fall season – notholidays and high season in the period 28/3 – 14/9-2025.

*Outside reception opening hours, you can check in and out at a self-service kiosk located outside the reception door. Here you will also be given a toll card so you can drive into the parking lot. Similarly, you can also hand in the card at the stand upon departure. *However, this is not possible for rental units, such as cabins, apartments and rental caravans, where a key must be handed out.

*ACSI customers cannot check in via the stand, as a meter will be handed out at the reception to calculate power.

This only applies to rental units.

Daily cleaning is always the responsibility of the tenant.

Final cleaning can be ordered at the reception or by booking online. Cabins, rental cars and Luxury Apartment must always be left in a tidy condition. This means that the waste bin and fridge must be emptied, dishes must be washed (or the dishwasher emptied) – and all furniture must be in the same place as on arrival. If there is a lot of waste/dirt on the floors, it is expected that they have been swept or vacuumed.

If the tenant has used a grill at the cabin, this must also be left clean before check-out.

If you want to do the cleaning yourself, the unit must be left in 100% proper condition. Grenaa Strand Camping must be able to approve cleaning and cleanup.

Dogs are very welcome at the campsite.

However, they must always be led and on a leash. Of course, we also ask that dogs are not barking, so always show respect and think of your neighbor and other guests on the site.

Waste must be picked up after the dog and the bag thrown in the waste bin where it belongs. It is possible to get dog bags at the Information desk.

Dogs are not allowed in the service buildings or in our Grenaa Cabins and rental caravans. Likewise, they are not allowed to be taken into the café/kiosk or reception. However, service dogs are an exception inside our service buildings, as they are seen as an aid.

Dog walking can take place anywhere on the site, as long as you respect other guests and the rules above.

See the price list for bringing your dog under “Prices”.

As a guest at Grenaa Strand Camping, you have free WIFI throughout the campsite.

Here you can read about the use of hotspots when you are a guest at Grenå Strand Camping.

We always recommend that you restart your device before logging into the network for the first time.

We offer hotspots throughout the campsite. However, guests should be aware that during peak periods and bad weather, the wireless internet may be slower and poorer than usual. There are many factors that affect internet speed and quality.

Trees: When the wireless signal has to pass through vegetation, the signal is weakened. When the leaves of the trees are wet, the signal is significantly weakened.

Rain: Water dampens the signal and makes the network not as fast as in sunny weather.

Caravans: Guests will often find that the signal works outside the caravan in the awning, but not inside. This is because the signal is significantly weakened when it has to pass through the caravan – the same applies to cars and neighboring caravans, which also “shadow” the signal. There is usually a much better signal outside the caravan, for example in the awning.

Events: Many people gathered in a very small area, for example at events on the square, can put a lot of strain on the Hotspot points in the specific area.

The area is also periodically bothered by a large military radar irradiation, which sometimes has a large negative impact on the strength of the signal. However, this only occurs for a short time and the network will normalize itself when the radiation is over.

When moving around the site with your smartphone, tablet or similar, some devices may experience slowdowns or lose connection completely. Simply restart your device and it will typically reconnect to the network. This is due to device behavior/setup and not Internet quality.

As all these conditions are dynamic, you will find that the signal will vary throughout the day.

The campsite must be quiet by 23:00.

This means that all guests must comply with this rule, and that no loud music is played after 23:00, or partying and noise is made after this time, as it would prevent other campers from getting their night’s rest.

Of course, it’s perfectly fine to enjoy yourself quietly in your own space inside the awning, etc.

The barrier is closed between 23:00 and 07:00.

During this time it is not possible to get in and out of the barrier.
